HOT MULLED CIDER 
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 qts. cider
1 tsp. whole allspice
1 tsp. whole cloves
3 inches stick cinnamon
Dash nutmeg

Combine first 3 ingredients. Tie spices in small piece of cheesecloth. Add. Slowly bring to a boil; simmer, covered, 20 minutes. Serve hot with orange peel twist. Use cinnamon sticks as muddlers. Serves 10.
