NEW ENGLAND FRUIT BARS 
1 1/4 c. flour
2 c. (1 lb.) mixed candied fruit
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. cut prunes
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Combine flour with fruit, walnuts, prunes and raisins. Cream butter, add sugar and baking powder. Cream thoroughly, about 5 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Stir in fruit. Turn into greased 13x9 inch pan. Bake 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cut into bars.
