FRUIT BAR 
2 1/2 c. flour
2 cubes butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. fruit mix (dry kind)
1 c. nuts, chopped

BOTTOM LAYER: Mix together 2 cups flour, butter, and 1/2 cup sugar. Spread in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees until brown.

TOP LAYER: Add 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 1/4 cups fruit mix and 1 cup chopped nuts. Mix well with beater. Spread on top of bottom layer. Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour. Makes 42 bars, 1 1/4 x 2 inches.
