QUICK RICOTTA CHEESE CAKE | |
2 boxes yellow cake mix 2 boxes vanilla instant pudding 2/3 c. oil 7 eggs Follow instructions on cake mix box, adding all ingredients listed above. Set aside after beating 2 minutes on High. FILLING: 2 lb. Ricotta cheese 4 eggs 1/2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. Anise flavoring Add beaten eggs, sugar and flavoring to drained ricotta. Pour cake batter into large greased and floured tube pan, or 13 x 2 x 9 inch pan. Drop filling, by large mixing spoon, into batter. Filling will even out on bottom as it bakes. Bake at 350 degrees about 55 to 60 minutes until knife comes out clean. Place on rack to cool, about 30 minutes. Then invert on rack to finish cooling. Add powdered sugar on top. Refrigerate. |
