STRAWBERRY PIE | |
1 c. water 1 c. sugar 3 tbsp. cornstarch 2 tbsp. white Karo syrup 9-inch baked pie crust 3 tbsp. strawberry Jell-O 8 oz. Cool Whip few drops red food coloring 1 pt. fresh strawberries, sliced Combine water, sugar, syrup and cornstarch. Cook until thickened and clear. Add Jell-O and red food coloring. Let cool. Spread small amount in pie crust. Fill with strawberries and pour the rest of the filling over the strawberries. When cool, top with Cool Whip and refrigerate. |
