ALMOND SLICES 
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1/3 c. oil
2 tsp. water
3 c. almond slices
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder

Mix all ingredients together. Roll dough into 2 loaf-shaped rectangles, and brush with egg. Bake on greased pans for approximately 20 minutes at 350 degrees. While still hot, slice on the diagonal and let cool completely.
