3 egg whites
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
20 Ritz crackers

Beat 3 egg whites stiff. Add 1 teaspoon baking powder and beat. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add 1 cup sugar and beat. Stir in 1/2 cup chopped nuts, 20 crushed Ritz crackers. Butter pie plate well. Pour in pan and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool, then add Cool Whip topping.
