HEARTY CABBAGE BEAN SOUP 
8 oz. kielbasa, sliced 1/4-inch thick (1 cube mine)
1 tsp. oil
1 med. onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. basil
1 sm. cabbage, shredded coarse
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (20 oz.) can cannellini, drained
2 c. water

In large pan brown sausage in oil. Remove sausage; pour off all but 1 tablespoon fat. Add onion and saute until tender. Stir in salt, pepper, thyme, and basil; then add cabbage, tomatoes, sausage, and water.

Bring to boil; reduce heat, cover, and simmer 15 minutes. Stir in beans; cook 5 minutes or until cabbage is done as desired and beans are heated through.
