Can I use pineapple juice?

 Cooks.com replies:
Hi Beth,

Fresh pineapple contains an enzyme that stops gelatin from setting up. The acid from raw pineapple juice won't allow gelling, but canned pineapple may be used or scald fresh pineapple and drain it.
