RICE PUDDING 
1/2 c. (raw) rice
1 qt. milk
2 egg whites, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. butter
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
2 egg yolks

Put rice, milk, salt and butter in pot; bring to a boil, then simmer for 30-35 minutes or longer. Remove from stove. Add sugar and egg yolks, stir. Add egg whites (beaten) and vanilla.
