BROWN SUGAR FUDGE (Maple) | |
1 c. granulated sugar 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar 1 c. evaporated milk 3/4 stick butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. nuts Combine sugar, milk and butter in heavy saucepan. Cook on medium heat until candy makes a firm ball in cool water. Remove from heat and add vanilla and nuts. Stir until it has a firm, fudgy consistency. Spread on plate, put in freezer approximately 10 minutes. Cut into squares and serve. |
