2 c. corn meal
1 1/2 c. sweet milk
2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
2 tbsp. flour
1/3 c. ground onion
1 tsp. salt

Mix dry ingredients together. Add milk, then the egg. Mix well, add onion. Drop off by teaspoon into hot fat. Cook until golden brown. Good on camping trips.
