BRAISED LIVER | |
2 lbs. beef or pork liver (1 inch thick pieces) 4 slices bacon 1 onion, sliced 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp. catsup 1 tbsp. chopped green pepper Salt and pepper Place liver in greased baking dish and cover with bacon slices. Add remaining ingredients. Add 1/2 cup water to liver in pan; cover tightly. Bake at 300 degrees about 1 1/2 hours. Remove cover last 15 minutes to brown. Serves 6. |
