STRAWBERRY OR RASPBERRY JAM 
2 qt. berries, crushed
7 c. sugar
2 tbsp. epsom salts

Put on fire in large kettle and bring to a rolling boil. Stir constantly. Boil hard for 6 to 8 minutes. Remove from fire, stir in epsom salt. Stir 5 minutes. Put in jars and seal. Could make it with only 2 teaspoon epsom salt.
