MICHELE'S EASY CHILI | |
6 (15 oz. ea.) cans ranch style beans (or store brand) 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce (Hunts) 1 lb. ground beef 1/4 cup chopped onion 3 tbsp. chili powder 1 tbsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper 1 bay leaf 1/4 tsp. cumin Empty beans, tomato sauce and seasoning into a large Dutch oven or saucepan. Add ground beef, crumbling up as best as possible. Add chopped onion and cook on medium-high heat, covered. Stirring occasionally to break up rest of the ground beef. Cook until all meat is done, about 15 minutes. When I add the spices I normally add enough to taste. Submitted by: Michele Sanchez |
