GIANT POPOVERS 
6 eggs
2 c. milk
6 tbsp. melted butter
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt

About 1 hour 20 minutes before serving, start heating oven to 375°F. Butter 8 (6-ounce) custard cups. Beat eggs slightly; add milk and melted butter. Beat until blended, then beat in flour and salt. Pour batter into custard cups to within 1/4-inch of top.

Bake popovers 60 minutes. Remove from oven quickly. Cut slit in side of each to let out steam, then return to oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until their tops are firm and crisp.

Serve the popovers piping hot with butter.
