VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 head cabbage
1 can mixed vegetables
1 pkg. carrots
Meat - boiling beef or beef stew meat
2 onions
1 box spaghetti
4 or 5 med. potatoes
5 tomatoes or canned

Cut up and cook cabbage, carrots, meat, onions, potatoes and a little salt, cover with water. Cook for about 1 1/2 hours. Then add tomatoes; cook another 15 minutes and add spaghetti and the mixed vegetables, a little pepper, a pinch of sugar and add salt to taste. Cook about 15 minutes longer.
