SWEET CEREAL PUFFS 
3 egg whites
2/3 c. sugar
4 c. Total or Wheaties

Heat oven to 325 degrees. In large mixer bowl beat egg whites until frothy. Gradually beat in sugar; continue beating until very stiff and glossy. Fold in cereal. Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on lightly oiled baking sheet. Bake 14-16 minutes. Makes 3-4 dozen puffs. Can be used for low-fat diets.

SWEET DATE PUFFS:

Make Sweet Cereal Puffs except mix 1/2 cup cut up dates with the cereal and fold into the meringue.
