LAYERED HAMBURGER PIE 
1 lb. ground chuck
1 (14 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (14 oz.) can green beans
mashed potatoes (enough to cover top)
onion to taste

Brown ground chuck with onion. Drain fat. Return to stove top and add tomato sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add green beans to hamburger mixture and simmer for 10 minutes more.

Meanwhile, mash potatoes. In a casserole dish, put hamburger mixture in bottom of dish. Place mashed potatoes on top of hamburger mixture.

Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.

For a spicier dish, add a can of Ro-Tel tomatoes to hamburger mixture.
