STUFFED MANICOTTI 
1 lb. ground beef
2 (15 oz.) cans Hunts tomato sauce
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1/4 c. water
1/2 tbsp. packed brown sugar
1 (15 oz.) carton Cottage cheese
3 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
1 egg
1 tsp. parsley flakes
12 manicotti noodles, cooked, rinsed & drained

In large fry pan, brown meat; drain. Remove 1/2 of meat and set aside. Stir tomato sauce, paste, water and brown sugar into meat in pan. Simmer 15 minutes.

In a bowl, combine remaining meat, Cottage cheese, and 2 cups Mozzarella, egg and parsley. In 13x9 inch baking dish, pour 1/2 of sauce on bottom. Stuff shells with cheese and meat mixture and place on top of sauce. Top with sauce and remaining Mozzarella cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
