FRESH APPLE CAKE 
4 c. diced apples
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. salad oil
2 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped nuts

CARAMEL FROSTING:

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
2 c. powdered sugar

Put apples in large bowl; break eggs over apples; stir. Add sugar, cinnamon, oil and nuts. Sift flour with salt and soda. Mix all ingredients and beat well. Bake in a greased 9"x13" pan about 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

FROSTING: Boil brown sugar, milk and butter until brown sugar is melted. Cool, then add powdered sugar.
