SOUR CREAM APPLE PIE 
3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Dash salt
6 tart apples
1 c. dairy sour cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked 9" pie shell

Mix together sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Peel, core and slice apples. Sprinkle sugar mixture over part of apple slices in pie shell. Add more apples, more sugar mixture until shell is filled. Spread with sour cream mixed with 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and rest of sugar mixture. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 35-45 minutes longer. Cool, decorate with additional apple slices.
