“RUM-GLAZED STEAK” IS IN:

RUM-GLAZED STEAK 
1 small onion, finely chopped (1/4 c.)
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/4 c. light rum
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. chili sauce
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1 red onion, thinly sliced

Sauté onion in oil in small saucepan 3 minutes or till tender. Add rum, soy sauce, chili sauce, mustard and ginger. Simmer over low heat, uncovered, 5 minutes stirring occasionally or till thickened. Broil steak, 4-inches from heat, 3 minutes on each side for rare, 5 minutes for medium and 7 minutes for well-done, basting with sauce. Let rest 5 minutes.

Thinly slice steak on the diagonal. Layer slices with onion slices in a shallow dish or platter; drizzle with remaining sauce over.

Makes 6 servings, 225 calories each.
