FIG CAKE 
1 c. fig preserves
1 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. oil
2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda, nutmeg, salt & cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans

Beat figs in mixer. Add buttermilk, sugar, eggs and oil; beat well. Add remaining dry ingredients; mix well. Add vanilla and fold in pecans. Pour in a well greased tube pan. Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour in a 325 degree oven.
