SOUR GREEN BEANS 
1 onion (sm.) chopped
6 slices bacon
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. red wine vinegar
1 1/2 lb. fresh green beans

Melt butter in saucepan; saute chopped onion. Remove from butter before browning begins. Fry or microwave bacon until slightly crisp. Put aside with onion. Boil fresh snapped green beans until tender. Sprinkle onion, crumbled bacon over drained green beans in pan. Pour red wine vinegar over saute until all is mixed well.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
