UPSIDE DOWN PEACH COBBLER 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 can (16 oz.) sliced peaches, drained and reserve syrup

Mix well flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk just until blended. Spread in greased 9x9x2 baking pan. Top with peaches. Add enough water to reserved syrup to make 1 1/2 cups. Heat 1/4 cup brown sugar and 2 tablespoons butter until melted and dissolved. Pour over peaches (mixture will be thin). Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
