SHRIMP IN BEER | |
6 pack of beer (your choice) 5 cans water 1 med. onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, crushed 1 lemon, cut up, skin and all 5 lbs. shrimp 20 pepper corns 1 tsp. crushed red pepper 2 stalks celery with leaves 1 tbsp. Season All 2 bay leaves Bring to boil all the above (except the shrimp) and simmer for 10 minutes. Put in shrimp and cook only 8 to 10 minutes or until pink with shells on. (If you use pealed and deveined, then only need to cook 3-5 minutes.) Cool and take off shells. |
