POWDER SUGAR POUND CAKE 
1 lb. butter
1 box powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla flavor (or your favorite)
6 eggs
1 box flour (all-purpose) Use sugar box to measure flour

Cream butter; cream sugar with butter; alternate the eggs and flour. Add vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done. (May substitute 8 ounce cream cheese for 1 stick of butter. Cream cheese helps pound cakes to hold moisture and has less calories than butter.)
