BEEF & RICE CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 tsp. garlic salt
3 c. cooked rice
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 (10 oz.) can tomatoes & green chilies
1/2 c. beef broth
1 c. finely chopped onions
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
3 c. corn chips

Brown meat with garlic salt in a lightly greased skillet. Combine meat and rice. Blend together soup, tomatoes and green chilies and beef broth. Stir into meat mixture.

In a buttered 2 quart casserole, layer half the meat mixture, onions, cheese and corn chips. Repeat with another layer, ending with corn chips. Bake uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Serves 8.
