HAMBURGER, RICE CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. ground beef 1/3 c. chopped onion 3/4 tsp. salt 1 lb. can tomatoes 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. long grain rice 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 lg. bell pepper (chopped) 4 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese (1 c.) Cook ground beef, onion and salt until meat is lightly browned. Add tomatoes, water, rice, Worcestershire sauce and bell pepper. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Stir in cheese. Pour in baking dish and bake in 350 degree oven 30 minutes. |
