MEAT LOAF 
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. sausage (Rice's Medium works for me)
1 c. bread crumbs
1 c. V-8 or tomato juice
2 eggs
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. sage
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix the ingredients together thoroughly, using your hands, shape into a loaf or place in a loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Allow about 15 minutes cooling time before slicing. Serves 6.

You could do this meatloaf in the microwave. Use a 9 inch round microwave-safe baking dish and spread the top with a thin layer of ketchup or barbecue sauce. Microwave 15 to 20 minutes on high. If you use a probe, set it for 170 degrees. Let stand for 15 minutes before cutting in wedges shaped pieces.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
