HAMBURGER HASH 
1 lb. ground chuck or hamburger
2 tsp. oil
4 c. shredded potatoes
2 med. onions, chopped
1 med. green pepper, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

In large skillet, slowly brown beef with a slotted spoon. Remove beef and set aside. Add enough oil to drippings in pan to make 2 or 3 tablespoons. Add potatoes, onions and green peppers. Cook until onions and potatoes are almost tender. Stir in meat, salt, and pepper. Heat until vegetables are tender. Makes 4-6 servings.
