TWINKIE CAKE 
1 box German cake mix

FILLING:

1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. Pet milk
1 tbsp. vanilla

Mix butter, Crisco, and sugar. Beat in mixer on high for 7 minutes. Add milk and vanilla. Beat for 3 minutes.

Bake German chocolate cake mix as directed except substitute buttermilk instead of water. Bake in 9x13 inch pan. When cool, split cake lengthwise into 2 layers. Spread filling on first layer. Use Chocolate Frosting on top layer.

CHOCOLATE FROSTING:

1/2 stick butter
2 tbsp. cocoa
4 tbsp. milk
2 c. powdered sugar

Heat cocoa, butter and milk until dissolved. Pour over powdered sugar and mix well. Spread on top of cake. (Sugar or milk may be added for right consistency.)
