MAKE YOUR OWN PUMPKIN SEEDS
Pumpkins can be made into jack-o-lanterns, vases for flowers, and pies. How about making your own pumpkin seeds.

1. Take the seeds out and wash them in a bowl of warm water to separate them from the pulp. Dry the seeds between sheets of paper towels. When they're dry, lay them on a cookie sheet and sprinkle with a little salt, garlic salt or any other flavored salt.

2. Set the oven for 225 degrees.

3. Place the cookie sheet in the oven for 1 hour, or at least until the pumpkin seeds are dry and crisp. Don't let them burn, through.

4. Take the seeds out of the oven; put them in a bowl to eat now. Or, keep some in an air-tight jar for later.
