SLUG'S LOW CHOLESTEROL OATMEAL
BREAD
 
Mix, set aside, cool until warm:

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. oatmeal
6 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. honey
2 tsp. salt

Mix and set aside for 10 minutes:

1/2 c. warm water
2 scant tbsp. yeast
1/2 tsp. sugar

To the oatmeal mixture, add:

1/2 c. egg beaters (or other egg substitute)
4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. oat bran
And the yeast mixture

Put into 2 loaf pans that have been sprayed with Pam and let rise until about 1 inch above the edge and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
