AUTUMN SOUP 
5 lbs. ground beef
5 c. chopped onion
12 c. water
3 c. chopped carrots
3 c. chopped celery
3 c. chopped potato
1 c. pearl barley (opt.)
3/4 tsp. seasoned salt
6 tsp. salt
3 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet
3/4 tsp. pepper
6 bay leaves
1/4 tsp. basil
1 tbsp. garlic
18 raw tomato or 3 lg. cans stewed tomatoes, whole or chunk, tomato & juice then reduce water to 11 c.

Brown meat, add onions and cook until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients except tomato. Heat to boiling, reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes. Add tomato, cover. Simmer until vegetables are done.
