STRAWBERRY CAKE WITH STRAWBERRY
ICING
 
1 box white cake mix
1 sm. pkg. strawberry Jello
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. water
1/2 sm. box frozen sweetened strawberries
4 egg yolks
4 egg whites

Beat 4 egg whites stiff; set aside. Mix together all of the rest of the above. Fold in egg whites and bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes in 2 greased and floured 9 inch cake pans.

ICING:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. drained strawberries
1 box powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix all of the above well and spread on cooled cake. Add a little milk if too thick. Sugar if too thin.
