FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 qt. fresh strawberries
3/4 c. water
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 c. Cool Whip
1 9-inch pie shell, baked

Line the pie shell with strawberries. Reserve about 1 cup of the berries for glaze. Simmer 1 cup berries and water for 3-4 minutes. Combine cornstarch and sugar. Add this to the berries along with lemon juice Cook the mixture until thickened and clear. Pour over the berries in pie shell and chill. Serve with whipped cream.
