SUPER SUPPER SALAD 
Toss together a meal in a salad bowl.

EQUIPMENT:

Measuring cups and spoons
Paper towels
Large salad bowl
Colander

INGREDIENTS:

1 /2 head lettuce
12 cherry tomatoes
1/2 c. alfalfa or bean sprouts (if you like)
1 (2 1/2 or 3 oz.) pkg. very thinly sliced, fully cooked ham
1 (2 1/2 or 3 oz.) pkg. very thinly sliced, cooked chicken or turkey
6 slices American or process Swiss cheese
2 tbsp. cooked bacon pieces
French, Italian or other salad dressing

1. Rinse lettuce under cold running water. Separate it into leaves. Put it on paper towels to drain. Pat lettuce dry with more paper towels. Tear it into bite size pieces and put it in the salad bowl.

2. Rinse the cherry tomatoes under cold running water. Remove any green stems from the tomatoes. Add them to the salad bowl.

3. Put the spouts in the colander. Rinse them under cold running water. Place the sprouts on paper towels. Pat them dry with more paper towels. Sprinkle the sprouts over the lettuce and tomatoes.

4. Tear the ham, chicken or turkey and cheese into bite size pieces. Add them to the salad bowl. Sprinkle the salad with bacon pieces. To toss the salad, pick up the salad ingredients with your hands, reaching to the bottom of the bowl. Drop the ingredients back into the bowl. Repeat until everything is well mixed. Serve with your favorite salad dressing. Makes 4 servings.
