BIG SUR SUPPER SALAD 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 c. minced onion
1 egg, slightly beaten
3/4 c. crushed marjoram leaves
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. wheat germ
1/4 c. catsup
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. pepper

Mix well shape into balls. Place in shallow baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes. 1/2 c. sliced pitted ripe olives 1/2 c. Italian dressing 2 med. tomatoes, wedges 1 green onion, chopped

Place lettuce in salad bowl. Arrange tomatoes, green peppers and olives around the edge. Place meatballs in the center. Sprinkle with green onion. Pour dressing over salad. Serve immediately. Note: Meatballs can be mixed shaped and refrigerated ahead.
