HOMEMADE PEANUT BUTTER 
In the container of a blender, put 1 cup freshly roasted peanuts and 1 1/2 tablespoons peanut oil. If you prefer salted peanut butter add 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Blend briefly, turn blender off and use rubber spatula to push down whole peanuts which rise to top. While alternating the blender and the spatula, gradually add another 1 1/2 tablespoons of peanut oil (or enough to the peanut butter the consistency desired.)

NOTE: Blending the peanuts will transform the peanuts' red skins into tiny red flecks in the finished peanut butter.
