FRENCH TOAST 
1 loaf French bread
6 eggs
1 1/2 c. 2% milk
1/2 c. half and half
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/4 tbsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tbsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 tbsp. light corn syrup

Cut bread into fairly thick slabs. Butter 9"x13" pan and arrange bread. Mix eggs, milk, half and half, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Blend and pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Before baking: In small bowl mix corn syrup, butter, sugar and walnuts. Pour over refrigerated mixture. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
