STEAK AND KIDNEY PIE 
2 or 3 veal kidneys (only veal), washed
1 lb. sirloin steak
2 med. onions, chopped
Flour
4 to 6 tbsp. oil
1 can button mushrooms, drained
2 c. water
Salt & pepper to taste

Clean and cut kidney and steak into bite-size pieces. Coat both with flour. Saute chopped onion in oil, add kidney and steak, saute until brown. Add drained mushrooms, 2 cups water, salt and pepper. Bake in casserole dish at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

FOR CRUST: Use biscuit mix (as directed), pie crust or mashed potatoes. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes longer.
