CHERRY CRUNCH 
1/2 c. butter
1 white cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
1/2 c. nuts (opt.)

Melt butter and slowly pour it over cake mix, mixing it until crumbly. Add nuts if desired. Pour pie filling in bottom of 8"x8"x2" square pan. Cover with crumbly mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with Cool Whip or ice cream.
