APPLE PIE 
3-4 peeled med. sized Granny Smith apples
1 tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. melted butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans (coarsely)
1 c. flour
1 egg
Pinch of salt

Fill buttered 9 inch pie pan 2/3 full of apples. Sprinkle with sugar. Combine other ingredients in bowl and spoon over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes (until golden).

CINNAMON CREAM SAUCE:

1 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. light corn syrup
1/3 c. water
1 1/2 tbsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. evaporated milk

Bring sugar, corn syrup, water and cinnamon to boil over medium heat. Boil 4 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes. Stir in evaporated milk. Serve over pie.
