CHOCOLATE POUNDCAKE 
1 1/2 c. butter
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla

Cream butter gradually. Add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift together the flour, cocoa, and baking powder; add alternately with milk and vanilla. Turn into greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

CHOCOLATE GLAZE:

3 sqs. semi-sweet chocolate or 1 (4 oz.) pkg. German's sweet chocolate
3 tbsp. water
