1 pkg. Duncan Hines yellow cake mix (Butter Recipe)
5 sticks butter (1 stick for cake)
4 c. flour
1 1/3 c. sugar
3 tsp. cinnamon
3 eggs (in cake mixture)
3 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 375 degrees before starting cake (at least 15 minutes).

Follow recipe on cake box; beat 4 minutes. Put in oven 15-20 minutes for 10x15 inch pan and approximately 17 minutes for 12x17 inch pan. Remove from oven. DO NOT turn oven off.

Melt 4 sticks butter; mix dry ingredients; add melted butter. Mix well. Add 3 teaspoons of vanilla. This mixture will look like a brown ball. Break off little pieces and place on top of cake. When completed, return to oven for approximately 17 minutes at 375 degrees. When cool, sprinkle powdered sugar on top.

This cake freezes well with the powdered sugar. Wrap well in aluminum foil and place in a plastic bag.
