TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 c. water
1 tbsp. + 1 tsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla

ICING:

1/2 c. butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 lb. powdered sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift together first 3 ingredients; set aside. Combine butter, water and cocoa in saucepan, heat to boiling. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Combine eggs, milk, soda and vinegar and vanilla in large mixing bowl; beat well. Add dry ingredients and cocoa mixture; mix well. Pour into greased and floured sheet cake pan (cookie sheet). Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until it tests done. Top with icing while still hot.
