CAROL'S PEACH COBBLER 
1 recipe of pie dough (enough for 2 cobblers). Peel 9-10 peaches (about 3 cups of sliced peaches). Add sugar to taste (1 cup, depending on the sweetness of the peaches). 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla. Roll out pie dough and cut in 3/4 inch strips.

Place a layer of peaches on the bottom of a 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan (approximate), and add a layer of dough strips. Add another layer of peaches. Dot with butter in the peaches. On the top, twist the pie dough strips and lay real close together. Sprinkle with cinnamon. If there is not enough juice to cover fruit, add water.

Bake 20 minutes at 425 degrees (or until top is brown). Turn oven down to 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until crust is done. Compliments from Bushy Creek Orchards.
