CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Cream together:

3/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. peanut butter

Blend in:

3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar

Add:

1 egg

Sift:

2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Add:

3/4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 12 minutes.
